Their hands built the white lime-washed taipa houses, their voices carrying the rhythm of a language older than the hills. Their tables groan with almond and fig, with lemons and oranges kissed by the sun.

Friday Evening Storytelling Walk in Aljezur Old Town
Step into the golden light in Aljezur’s Old Town as the sun dips below the hills. Every Friday evening, two hours before sunset, we organise a 90 minute walk.
Wander the cobblestone streets and quiet corners, listening to tales of Moorish echoes and contemporary whispers. The walk ends at the castle of Aljezur, where a 360-degree sunset view and a glass of local wine (or non-alcoholic drink) await.
